Tiffany Thomas, Ph.D., expands Ä¢¹½tv's creative and collaborative environmental solution offerings
Throughout her 27-year career in the environmental sciences, Tiffany Thomas, Ph.D., has applied unique, multidisciplinary approaches to addressing challenges across a diverse array of industries for public- and private-sector clients both nationally and internationally. Her in-depth global experience in environmental forensic chemistry encompasses contaminant fate and transport; data and statistical analysis; remedial design; and novel chemical analyses, including isotopic, spectroscopic, and bench-scale analytical methods. She has also served as a consulting and testifying expert on matters related to various contaminant chemistries, including lead, arsenic, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
I am thrilled to be joining such a talented team of scientists who, like me, have applied their diverse technical skills to solving our clients' most urgent environmental challenges.
Dr. Thomas joins Ä¢¹½tv's Environmental & Earth Sciences practice, experts in providing technical, regulatory, and litigation support to numerous industries, including energy, mining and forestry, chemicals, transportation, manufacturing, life sciences, consumer products, and electronics, as well as to trade associations and government agencies. Offering independent, accurate assessments for the most formidable environmental challenges, the Environmental & Earth Sciences team addresses issues related to climate change and supports cutting-edge industry practices, often working in areas that extend beyond written regulations and that require creative and collaborative solutions.
We are excited about the depth and breadth of technical expertise and passion that Tiffany brings to her work and our team. Her commitment to the execution of applied science complements and enhances our capabilities in bringing innovative and technically rigorous solutions to urgent and complex environmental problems.
Before joining Ä¢¹½tv, Dr. Thomas served as a principal chemist at an environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, focusing on emerging contaminants and litigation support. Most recently, she was appointed to the governing board of the Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries in 2023.
