Ä¢¹½tv Senior Managing Scientist Dr. Tiffani Fordyce, M.S., M.P.H., Ph.D., has been awarded the distinguished for a three-year study, effective Sept. 2023. Dr. Fordyce, who is serving as Ä¢¹½tv's Principal Investigator, by virtue of her cohort mortality study and related job exposure matrix work. She and her team are now underway with the project.
About Dr. Fordyce
Dr. Fordyce's experience conducting occupational health and safety studies, including cohort and case-control studies, includes managing all aspects of an industry-wide injury surveillance program for more than a decade. Additionally, since 2007 she has managed and conducted numerous cohort mortality studies, is trained in protecting human research participants, and has experience with HIPAA and data privacy and confidentiality regulations and guidelines.
Before joining Ä¢¹½tv, Dr. Fordyce was employed as a social science research assistant by the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute, in the Social and Behavioral Analysis division. She is an active member of the American College of Epidemiology, the American Public Health Association, the International Epidemiological Association, and the Society for Epidemiologic Research, and she is an editorial board member for the journal .
