Our People

We Strive to Embed Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in Everything

Our differences make us stronger, and we're building a culture where diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded in everything we do.

Pillars

Our Approach to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Ä¢¹½tv's framework is built on four pillars of action.

Communication

Communication

Our annual employee survey and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Committee help increase transparency and ensure a two-way dialogue between employees and leadership.
Development

Development

We foster equitable opportunities via our development pathways. Our mentoring, sponsorship, and buddy programs provide unbiased growth opportunities, support, and connection.
Outreach

Outreach

Our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion outreach leverages science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to empower the communities around us. Initiatives include staff volunteering in classrooms, professional societies, and direct gifts to universities.
Recruiting

Recruiting

We engage graduate students at more than 100 universities, including those in connection with affinity professional organizations. We employ a behavioral, competency-based interviewing process to actively reduce bias.

Our Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Committee

As part of the firm's efforts to foster a culture of belonging, we have appointed an advisory committee of Ä¢¹½tv employees to focus on these important issues.

Employee Networks & Continued Learning

Our employee-led networks aim to foster belonging through shared identities and life experiences. We also engage employees on topics such as gender inclusion and mental health as part of our development initiatives.

How Do You Create Health Equity?

How do we identify real-world data sources that represent the real patient population? Too often, medical advances and recommendations are based on narrow population data, which exclude groups that have been historically marginalized. We set out to change that.

How Do You Ensure Technology Doesn't Discriminate?

As the use of biometrics has proliferated in our phones, watches, and other personal devices, Ä¢¹½tv has sent teams around the world on behalf of leading technology providers to ensure machines reflect the diversity of the people who use them.

Ä¢¹½tv Dean's Scholarship Endowment

We care about giving back to our local and professional communities, and we're intentional about how we support the next generation of STEM leaders. We contribute direct gifts to universities, such as a recent $250,000 gift to the Georgia Tech Foundation for the newly established Ä¢¹½tv Dean's Scholarship Endowment, which is directed to students in underrepresented groups.
