Mr. Easter is an Associate in Ä¢¹½tv's Vehicle Engineering Practice, specializing in product design assessment, testing, and functional analysis of consumer products. His expertise includes analysis of vehicle response when equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication protocols for cooperative driving and collision mitigation. Mr. Easter has an educational background in mechanical engineering and computer science, focusing on aspects of emerging vehicle technologies, particularly those enabling the various levels of vehicle autonomy. He has a specialized skillset that includes mechanical design, lean manufacturing, vehicle simulation, software development, project management, and data analysis.

While pursuing his M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Autonomous Systems, Mr. Easter worked as a research assistant for the University of North Texas's Vehicle Autonomy and Intelligence Lab (VAIL), which focused on cooperative vehicle autonomy. His work with VAIL included developing software code for vehicle control programs, a vehicle-to-all (V2X) framework, and vehicle perception utilizing the output of sensors such as camera and LiDAR. He has industry experience in the design and manufacture of mechanical components including mounts, guards, and connectors for the lean approach to safety and assembly. Through his experience in manufacturing and operations, Mr. Easter has gained a deeply ingrained understanding of the needs for safety and efficiency across all industries.
