Dr. Jun Tian has over 20 years of science and technology experience specializing in Wi-Fi networking, satellite communication payload and cable access network. She conducts system architecture review, protocol design and analysis, new product integration and evaluation. She helps her clients where multiple technologies are employed for seamless communication.

Dr. Jun Tian has an extensive background working with embedded software, communication protocols, architecture optimization and partition. Her professional activities focus on meeting reliability and security needs for communication. Her experience in time critical software and high-speed logic design provides practical insights on the demanding nature of real-time systems.

Prior to joining Ä¢¹½tv, Dr. Tian served as a technical expert in 802.11 wireless communication leading new product qualification in major networking companies and certification entities. She had also served as an industry liaison to standard and certification organizations, e.g., IEEE, ANSI and CTIA.

Dr. Tian has extensive background in satellite communication, where she assisted customers in payload design, system integration and validation. She is also experienced with cable access network where she had collaborated with cable operators on feasibility research and architecture optimization.

Dr. Tian was accepted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University after ranking 5th in Shanghai in the national college entrance examination.   Graduating as 1st  in computer science department, she came to United States to pursue her dream with less than $50.  She supported herself as a teaching and research assistant to mathematics and engineering students and obtained her M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering.
