Dr. Koshy is a regulatory toxicologist with broad experience across pesticides, biocides and REACH/CLP. Her expertise includes interpretation of a wide range of toxicological studies — toxicokinetics, acute and chronic toxicity, genotoxicity, carcinogenicity, reproductive and developmental toxicity, immunotoxicity, neurotoxicity, mechanistic studies, and conducting data gap analyses.
Dr. Koshy provides expert scientific support to clients on the technical and regulatory aspects of pesticide and biocide dossiers to support active substance approvals and product authorizations. Prior to joining Ä¢¹½tv, Dr Koshy's extensive experience at the UK regulatory authority - the Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD, Health and Safety Executive, UK) - also included the assessment of impurities, endocrine disruption, dermal absorption and the relevance of groundwater metabolites.
During her 14-year career at CRD, Dr. Koshy represented the UK at European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) Toxicology expert meetings on pesticides and biocides. Dr Koshy has also delivered training on endocrine disruption, technical equivalence and dermal absorption, including bespoke training at JMAFF, Tokyo.
