Aegis Ashore Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Facility, Deveselu, Romania — Constructed for the Navy and U.S. Missile Defense Agency and a component of the 2009-initiated European Phased Adaptive Approach, this mission critical facility consisted of significant High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) shielding, electrical, and fire suppression work. Mr. Hardison assisted with analysis of the contractor's impacts as part of the Contractor's Request for Equitable Adjustment (REA).
Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) Project, Toronto, Ontario — The ECLRT project is a multi-billion dollar PPP project constructed predominantly below Toronto's Eglinton Avenue. Mr. Hardison assisted with drafting the PPP consortium's claim.
Herbert C. Hoover Renovation Project, Washington, DC - This multi-phase project was to modernize over 1 million SF of historic building in downtown D.C. Mr. Hardison reviewed the contractor's monthly schedules, reports, and time-impact analysis (TIAs) to assess the contractor work progress and performance. He then provided the client with recommendations and areas of concern for potential delays and disputes.
Maryland Public Health Laboratory Project, Baltimore, Maryland - The 234,000 SQ.F. Maryland Public Health Laboratory was home to a broad range of programmatic functions in service of the lab's mission, including sample receiving and testing, and training. Mr. Hardison performed analysis of the contractor's schedule updates in advance of mediation.
New Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex, Toronto, Ontario — The $1Bb (CAN) facility houses the headquarters for the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service, the Office of the Chief Coroner, and the Centre of Forensic Sciences. Mr. Hardison assisted with the delay analysis preparation in advance of mediation.
VCU — Virginia Treatment Center for Children, Richmond, Virginia — The 117,000 SF inpatient behavioral health facility. Mr. Hardison analyzed the delays incurred by the contractor and prepared a request for equitable adjustment (REA) which successfully allowed for the extension of the project's completion date and granting of extended general conditions.
