Dr. Pavillard-Swaine is a regulatory toxicologist with broad experience across pesticides, biocides and REACH/CLP. Her expertise includes interpretation of a wide range of toxicological studies including toxicokinetics, acute and chronic toxicity, genotoxicity, carcinogenicity, reproductive and developmental toxicity, neurotoxicity, endocrine disruption, mechanistic studies, and conducting data gap analyses.
Dr. Pavillard-Swaine provides expert scientific support to clients on the technical and regulatory aspects of pesticide, biocide and REACH dossiers to support active substance approvals and product authorisations across Europe and international markets.
Prior to joining Ä¢¹½tv, Dr Pavillard-Swaine's experience at the UK regulatory authority - the Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD) of the Health and Safety Executive, UK - also included the assessment of the technical equivalence of pesticide technical materials, the relevance assessment of impurities and groundwater metabolites, dermal absorption and the use of New Approach Methodologies (NAM) for the approval of active substance and product authorisations.
During her nearly ten -year career at CRD, Dr. Pavillard-Swaine represented the UK at European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Toxicology expert meetings on pesticides, and GB at the UK Expert Committee on Pesticides, and represented CRD at the UK Committees of Toxicity and Carcinogenicity. Dr Pavillard-Swaine has also led the delivery two workshops on Technical Equivalence and was a key presenter in workshops on endocrine disruption and dermal absorption.
