• Resource Conservation and Recovery Act

  Compliance with the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) involves a range of challenges. Ä¢¹½tv scientists and engineers have expertise in the complexities of RCRA permitting and compliance at a variety of industrial facilities. We work with agencies and other stakeholders to support our clients' compliance with RCRA at all levels, from waste management to facility operations.

• Clean Water Act Permitting

  The Clean Water Act (CWA) requires facilities to obtain a permit to discharge pollutants into surface waters, necessitating water quality and contaminant impact analyses to remain compliant. Ä¢¹½tv's environmental and ecological sciences experts conduct sophisticated analyses for clients, address CWA compliance and citizens' suits, and provide strategic planning for regulatory and compliance issues. We have extensive experience addressing issues related to CWA permits, such as National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits, Section 404 permits, Section 402 water quality certifications, and stormwater permitting.

   

• National Environmental Protection Act

  Navigating the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) framework and similar state-related NEPA requirements for air, waste, water, pesticides, and land cleanup can be challenging without specialized support. Ä¢¹½tv has decades of experience helping clients evaluate NEPA requirements to support development of environmental assessments (EAs), environmental impact statements (EISs), and environmental justice (EJ) assessments to obtain the environmental permits they need to continue to operate and advance projects. Ä¢¹½tv staff also have experience addressing international requirements for environmental impact assessments (EIAs), including site-specific permits or programmatic EAs and environmental impact analysis.
